The units for dielectric properties and associated quantities are summarized in the table below. The units for the dielectric permittivity reflect the fact that it relates a field (\(\vec E\)) to a flux (\(\vec D\)). On the other hand, the relative permittivity is unitless, as is the dielectric susceptibililty.
